Who we are
Grower Folks Pvt. Ltd. (“Grower Folks”, “we”, “us”) is a creative and performance marketing agency based in Kochi, Kerala, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of working with you, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices you have.
It applies to growerfolks.com and to enquiries and projects that begin there. It does not cover the websites, apps or social platforms of other companies, including the client work we link to.
Information we collect
Details you give us. When you contact us through the project form, WhatsApp, email or phone, we collect what you choose to share: your name, company, email address, phone number, the type of project you have in mind and your description of it. If we go on to work together, we also hold the information needed to run the project, such as briefs, approvals, invoices and the contact details of the people on your team.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this only to keep the site secure and to understand how it performs. This site does not run analytics scripts or advertising trackers.
Preferences stored in your browser. The site does not store any preference or identifier in your browser. Any future feature that needs to remember a setting will keep it on your device only.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a point of view or proposal.
- To plan, deliver and manage projects you commission, and to invoice for them.
- To keep in touch about work in progress and to share results and reports.
- To keep the website secure, reliable and improving.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask us to, and you can leave it at any time.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process personal information because you have asked us to (for example, when you send an enquiry), because it is needed to perform an agreement with you or your company, because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business and website, or because the law requires it. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers to run the business, and some of your information may pass through them:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): messages you send us on WhatsApp, including briefs started from the project form, are processed by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Form handling and email. If the project form is connected to a form-handling service, your submission is processed by that provider on our behalf. Email is delivered by our email provider.
- Hosting. The website and its server logs are hosted by our hosting provider.
- Advertising platforms. When we run campaigns for you on Meta, Google or other platforms, we use accounts you own or authorise. Your customers’ data on those platforms is governed by those platforms and by our agreement with you.
We choose providers that commit to appropriate security and confidentiality, and we share only what is needed for the service in question.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to twelve months so we can pick the conversation back up if you return, then deleted. Project records, contracts and invoices are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the period afterwards that Indian accounting and tax law requires, which is generally eight years. Server logs are rotated automatically within a few weeks.
How we protect it
Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where the provider supports it, files are stored on reputable cloud services, and this website is served over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- delete information we no longer need to keep;
- stop using your information for a particular purpose, including marketing;
- move your information to another provider in a usable format.
Write to info@growerfolks.com and we will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Our services are for businesses and this website is not directed at children under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page, and if we hold your contact details we may tell you directly.
